If you want to help our clients interested in your field, you can by contacting us and telling us you’d like to be a resource.
Our Career Explorations are all about community experiences. When helping a client explore their fields of interest, we want to be sure they learn everything they need to make an informed decision. The best way to do that is by on-site visits, where Employmentality, the client, and you take a brief tour of the site. This gives the client an idea of what their workstation might look like, should they enter the field.
But, community experiences aren’t just about about the site. We also want to talk to experts (you) about what the job is like. This helps our clients get a feel for if they can handle the work, if they’re interested in the work, and if it’s something they could see themselves doing as a career.
Employmentality does a lot of different explorations in a lot of different sectors, and we can’t do it without the community’s help! If you want to help our clients interested in your field, you can by contacting us and telling us you’d like to be a resource.
After that, we’ll reach out to you and learn a little about your field, what your role is, and what kind of information you think our clients should know before applying. Once we have a client wanting to learn about your field, we’ll reach out again and set up a meeting.
These meetings are best done in person, though we understand that sometimes may not be possible. We can also accommodate for virtual sessions! Either way, we’ll only be asking for about 30-60 minutes of your time in one of these meetings. Our client will come prepared with the list of questions they want to know, which may include pay, benefits, accommodations, daily duties, and things you wish you knew before entering the field. That’s it!
Employmentality provides career consultation services such as career exploration, career development, and job searching services to local Oregonians. We work closely with vocational rehabilitation counselors throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley.
